On the 16.11.11 we had preadara training it was good getting to learn about new products & getting a chance to try them out.

First Full Mini Facial

On 14.11.11 I brought my gran in for a mini facial. As she was my first proper client I felt a bit anxious. In the treatment I did an eye cleanse, lip cleanse, first cleanse, deep cleanse, mask, tone & moisturise. I felt the treatment went really well, I need to be a wee bit quicker at the eye clease. Over all I was happy with the treatment.

First Pedicure

Basic Pedicure

On the 09.11.11 we learned how to do a basic pedicure at first I was quite aprehensive but it was a successful treatment which my client enjoyed. In my treatment I removed previous nail enamel, filed the nails, applied exfoliater, cuticle massage cream, soaked the feet & applied polish. I look forward to learing more about pediccure treatments,

Halloween Nails

Monday 31st October - We designed halloween nails in essential skills. It was a fun task & it was good to experiment with nail art but it was harder than I first anticipated. I look forward to leaning more about nail art.

My first cream face mask

Deep cleanse & Face Masks

This afternoon we learned how to do a deep cleanse & how to apply a face mask. I used the soothing mask which is a cream mask I look forward to trying out the mud mask.

Hi my name is Amie. I am doing level 1 beauty essential skills. I started the course in august, I am enjoying the course so far. So far in the course I have learned how to do a basic file & polish. I really enjoy doing file & polish & am looking forward to learning french polish. I have also learned to do a basic facial - cleanse, tone & moisturise. I am looking forward to learning how to do face masks.
